8% Toward My Goal!

I posted video #8 last night. The goal is 100 videos. I'm liking that each video counts as 1% progress!

I took a similar approach in editing with video 7 (above) and video 8, so let me tell you about them both. Retention will be low as I'm starting out, so I had the thought to stack all the best shots within the first minute of the video, hopefully less. In video 7, of Garden of the Gods, I did leave one great shot, my favorite, where it originally was, but I pointed it out in the description. I'm not sure about that decision, so I'll be checking the analytics on that one as more people watch it.

Video 8 of my favorite ride, US 24, has all the best shots up front, and then you can stay and watch the whole ride if you like. I'm not sure yet what improvement I'll do next, but I really like that these videos are already getting somewhere. They all need proper thumbnails, though. That should be next.
